APPEARANCE ┈

Being that I'anys is cursed, his hair color, and height are to remain rather diminuitive, and forboding- for his race. Born with hair the colors of unrefined Amethyst, and eyes hued with gold, the fledgling Y'noeth is quite epicene. With skin that were to be smooth and flawless were it not for what was hidden beneath a form of " eyepatch " - the color of fresh peach blossoms, I'anys can be found wearing what would be considered most fashionably androgynous, with hints of his devotion tied into it.

It is common to find him complimenting himself with appropriate colors, and as he holds himself quite high, it would be hard to tell for most- that he is not as old as many of the other Y'noeth that are already rearing church's and holding political, and/or military positions. One would be hard pressed to guess his age, merely by the confidence that he exudes. With one eye constantly lulled in quiet investigation, which can often times seem rather sultry, I'anys is a picture of grace.

PERSONALITY ┈

Though it might seem that I'anys would be quite humble considering his religious position, he in fact, does not give consideration to anyone other than his God, Ievos. That being said, he rarely gives many the time of day, and despises being second best to anyone. He is cold, witty, sarcastic, and hard to impress. Getting through to I'anys, or rather, being considered an actual friend, and not simply a circumstantial business associate and/or acquaintance, is less likely to happen than him becoming an honest person.

He is a liar, a cheat, a vicious and brutal person when necessary. He will do anything and everything it takes to get what he wants, by any means. He is not above murder, he is quite in fact, all too happy to do so. He is not above drugging anyone, or otherwise.

Though for fair warning, none of these things are very obvious, he is a magnificent " illusionist".
He is also quite vane because of his dis-figuration. He searches for the beauty in other things but refuses to have anyone more beautiful than him in his vicinity. If you are in his company, you are not what he considers beautiful.

HISTORY ┈

I'anys' mother Lanian was married off to a wealthy, and quite well known politician by the name of Baineth del Tori'van. Their marriage was a very loveless one, because the two came together for the money. They traveled considerably, and hoped that along the way, they might love one another, or at least that was what they told their closest of companions. Upon one unfortunate adventure, Madame del Tori'van made the mistake of acquainting herself with none other than Ievos himself, and in her astonishment, made a case to ask the man for a blessing on her family. With no children and no prospect of having them yet, so she thought- the man " blessed " her with a gift, a simple kiss on the forehead.

Within the normal amount of time, there was soon born a child, I'anys, and to his mothers horror, he was born cursed, small and dark haired, and she would not even look at him for too long lest she turn into a mess of sobbing and wailing. For most of his young life, I'anys was kept sheltered from the world, at the age of 6 he was murdering small animals in the privacy of his families estate, and taking them apart. One such time, he was caught and promptly scolded by his mother.

With two large golden eyes, full of wisdom beyond their years, I'anys looked up at the woman smiling rather knowingly, and said the following. " If you spent more time worrying about your husband, and spending time with him instead of wasting time on your child, perhaps your marriage wouldn't be falling apart. " -

The mere realization that her barely old enough child, had thrown together such a statement, and was staring at her with those wretched eyes full of intelligence unfitting of an adolescent, she reacted harsh and hastily. With a single fluid motion she had snatched one of his eyes from his head, screaming at him about his cursed nature, and how horrible of a thing he was.

From then on he was forced to endure his life half blind, subjected to ridicule because of his birth, and the state of his face, he took to covering part of it with a bandage. He commonly avoids eye contact because of this. As a comfort he took up singing, with practicing and training, his voice was cultivated and he quickly began to travel, picking up speed and renown where-ever he went. From a very early age, he could hear and feel a lacking in Ievos, due to the curse that his mother had given him through that very kiss laid upon her flesh. It was from that early age that he fell desperately in love with the man he now considers his God, and has vowed on his life to find a way to please him. By the age of 14 he was already speaking to people in dark corners, and mustering up confidants, looking for peoples of every walk to gather to his cause.

By 17 ( Present ) - he has established a considerable amount of personal wealth, as well as a vast following, and even owns a rather large church, a sect of worship by the name of " The Order of Providence " - entirely devoted to singing praise to his Lord, Ievos.}}
